Peikko Group’s Lithuanian subsidiary Peikko Lietuva UAB has received a substantial order for Deltabeams and other Peikko connections to an office building project in Kaunas, Lithuania. The deliveries will take place during spring 2012. They consist of 1.1 kilometers of Deltabeams and various Peikko connections, such as column shoes and anchor bolts.
The investor of the project is a commercial real estate company Baltic Shopping Centers. The project is developed by a commercial property company Baltic RED, the main contractor is YIT Kausta, the structural designer is SWECO Lietuva, and the precast elements for the project are delivered by MARKUCIAI. The key tenant of the premises will be Senukų Prekybos Centras - the largest retail chain, selling construction, repair and household goods in the Baltic countries.
"We are happy to be chosen as supplier to this project, which is one the largest office projects in Lithuania. Peikko’s Deltabeam concept gives benefits for modern office building construction - such as cost-competitiveness, flexibility and speed of construction. We are pleased that these benefits are also appreciated by our Lithuanian customers." comments Topi Paananen, CEO of Peikko Group Corporation.
